We brewed up a special batch that would be laid to rest in freshly emptied 19 year Elijah Craig barrels. After about 14 months in those casks, we selected and blended the best of what our barrels had to offer, then introduced this blend to a handful of 21 year Elijah Craig barrels for 14 more months. In the end, only a few select barrels were worthy of becoming KBBS Reserve.
